I totally agree with what you are saying. I am a British woman, I am 21 and I am a very healthy weight. I am 5ft 5inch and I am 9 stone. I am slim yes, but definitely could not be a top model. I love my body. I am shocked when I hear that a model at 5ft 10inch weighs a stone less than me! Some models do look great, the slim ones that look healthy, not the anorexic ones that look like they are dieing! Most blokes I know prefer a normal, toned, healthy looking figure which is why when you see women in bikinis in clokes mags, that is what they look like, because that is what they think is attractive, you don;t see an anorexic looking girl in a blokes mag in a bikini, they have boobs and a bum!

I feel that Anna Wintour ought to go if you want your Magazine to survive. An editor who allows the new woman now occupying the White House, I don’t use the word ‘lady’ because I feel that terminology most be used properly, to make the Satanic salute sign ought to dissappear from Vogue Magazine. How far are we going to allow things to deteriorate in this country? A few friends of mine, as well as myself, have been so disgusted by the whole thing that we bow never to buy or read the Magazine again.

I applaud you for using real women as your models! Every woman is uniquely beautiful. As an image consultant, I think it is important to take the extra time to make sure the garments are flattering for the each model’s proportions, looks and personal coloring. I have seen outfits on models especially online, that are clearly not right for even the “anorexic” models. Conversely, I attended a designer’s fashion show where the plus size model outshone both the petite and the missy model.
